HOW MUCH DO PRIVATE CHARTER FLIGHTS COST?

Many people don’t understand the difference between a commercial flight and a private charter flight, especially when it comes to price.  Commercial flights (including regional carriers) are less expensive because there are anywhere from 100 to 230 seats on the plane sharing the the cost of the flight.  Even on the regional airlines, which average 34 seats, and are subsidized by larger partners, most flights fly with enough passengers to cover the expenses for that shorter distance they’re flying.  And while you’ve seen flights with less people and wondered how they cover the expenses, the math always works out in favor of the airline (through overall business) or the airline doesn’t fly.  We’ve unfortunately seen this with the pandemic with many planes ground or taken out of service altogether.

Private charter flights offer an option for those who wish to have complete control of their destination, itinerary, accoutrements, and the passengers they choose to fly with.  In many cases, families will make the decision to rent a charter flight to fly home safely for the holidays or on a tropical vacation.  Our business customers charter privately to make sure there are no delays or to be sure they can get to destinations that may not be flown to commercially. Those who are used to flying private understand the costs involved, and they are in a position where they can pay for those additional conveniences.
